One Holyrood Hotel - Newport (Isle Of Wight)

The units are delightful, tidy. The location is brilliant and pleasant in a lovely area, close to the carpeted areas, the nice garden, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and the Jack Up The Summer 2021 Festival.

The bathrooms are not very clean.

We enjoyed twin room provided with the walk-in shower, bath, for example. The location was stunning, a minute walk from The Seat.

Limited bathroom amenities were quite disappointing, especially given the expectations for a hotel of this caliber!!!

Breakfast choices were plentiful and delicious. The charming ambiance of the historical building and its lovely garden added to the overall experience. While the location is convenient, the surrounding noise could occasionally be disruptive at night.

We explored fine coastal walks during the Island's Walking Festival and soaked up the friendly vibe at the local pubs. The rooms were well-kept, and the breakfast was great. Don't miss the lovely garden area for drinks after a day of adventures.

We didn't experience any major complaints, but the chair in the room was a bit awkward under the desk.

My room was a quirky delight with historic features and modern touches. Breakfast was an epic feast-local sausages, free-range eggs, and the most delicious homemade coffee cake that I couldn't resist. The beautiful walled garden provided the perfect peaceful escape to enjoy a cup of tea while basking in the flowers' fragrance.

I loved the cute vibe right from check-in. The room felt spacious, clean, and the en-suite had a fantastic walk-in shower. Breakfast each morning was a highlight, fresh, diverse, and delicious. The lovely garden outside was perfect. Staff seemed genuinely attentive. One minor drawback was the parking arrangements. Finding a nearby spot was slightly inconvenient at times. The steep stairs could be tricky, especially with luggage. But honestly, these small issues didn't overshadow the great time I had here. I'll definitely return!

Perfect venue for nice gatherings

We had our wedding celebration here and it was fine! The staff, they really went all in to make everything special, I mean every little detail. We even got to have our ceremony outside in the beautiful garden, can't forget that gorgeous view! The food was great and all our guests were impressed with how lovely the rooms were.

Wasn't exactly cheap, but you know what? It was worth it.

Stayed at one holyrood and loved every minute! The superior king room was beautifully decorated and super comfortable. The highlight was breakfast in the lovely walled garden, where the staff provided excellent service. It's a serene retreat with easy access to all parts of the island.
